Grey Wolf Lodge
Fishin' picked up yesterday on Pelican Lake, Orr, MN. We had the tournament and only 30 people entered. They used minnows on various jigs and caught 35 perch and northern pike in 3 hours from 12-3 PM. One guy lost a 5-6 lbs. wallie. Largest was 33-34" northern. Going out today for more fun. Ice is slushy here and there. Gonna try waxies and gulp for crappies. Minnows if nothin' else is workin'. Last weekend at Ely Lake in Eveleth, MN 300 people signed up for their tourny and only caught one fish!!! A 3/4 pound perch won the big prize. At Elephant Lake a couple of weeks ago, I heard around 120 folks entered the tourny and caught around 6 perch. Fishin' has been slow, but they gotta wake up sooner or later. Hopefully, you can be in the right place at the right time! Enjoy, Grey Wolf Lodge
