justlivin'
This is new to me. Does anyone know more about it? How much it costs to get and where to get? Do I need this before I head to Canada in March? Is it good forever? Thanks for info
Wild Thing
Don't panic. It comes when and where you buy your license. An extra $9. Good for three years. It will help in the future so we can buy licenses on-line etc. All of this was addressed in several past posts.
Down Deep
When you buy your Canadian License they give you a form to complete. Then that serves as your license until you get your card in the mail in 3 to 6 months. The $9 fee is correct and is added on to the regular license fee. computerboy
The main thing to keep in mind with the Outdoors card is you need to have it in your possession in addition to your Ontario fishing license tag. For 2009 and beyond, a valid Ontario fishing license for non-residents consists of the following:- An Outdoors Card, or Temporary Outdoors Card Application - An Ontario fishing license tag When you purchase your non-resident fishing license for 2009 you will receive a copy of your Outdoors card application along with a fishing license tag. You need to have both of these items in your possession or you will be considered in violation.Good luck and have fun out there!
