Jr. was pathetic most of the day, this instance was no exception. There really is no other way to look at it, unless you are really really delusional.

Congrats to Matt Kennseth winner of the "2009 Daytona 380"!

At 189 Mph 1 inch (the distance of the hit on vickers bumper) would go by in less then 1/4 of a second.

Sifty

No kidding Sifty things happen fast out there. Easy to be an arm chair QB. It wasn't intentional but I do believe it was all his fault. They just had a bad day all around!

Hubby was happy that Kenseth won, but bummed that the race was so anticlimatic.

From our perspective, both Vickers and Jr were to blame for the wreck. It looked to us that Vickers initiated contact with the block, and got a little loose. If Vickers lets off the gas to control his car, Jr would have had to brake pretty hard to avoid hitting him. As fast as they were going, it wasn't going to be good no matter what Jr did. Neither one of them were using their brains on that deal.

On the other hand, there was loud cheering and lots of high fives when Kyle was taken out. gringrin
