Dog do do

Is it a good idea to throw dog do do into the garden, or is it a bad idea ?

bad idea if its a garden that you will harvest food from. There are diseases that can be transfered from the dog do do to humans. I checked once to see if I could put it in the compost pile and was told to keep it away.

dog do is the wrong type of fertilizer. the only animal stuff you would want are ruminants like cows, sheep etc.

I think you can also use horse. At least I know my bro-in-law does. They're not sprouting extra appendages yet.

Basically the animals that are meat eaters can carry parasites (worms) and other diseases that aren't found in the manure of grain and fiber eating animals.

google - manure as fertilizer - and you'll find out more than you want to know blush
