Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

I wondered the exact same thing. But considering he brought it to the Police Dept to sell it to me.. and he used to carry a badge..

Figured it was a golden deal !

Well, he could have received it as a gift a while ago (that does happen) and he needed the cash now, and he sold the thing that he used the least of all his gear. I find my camera comes out only when I'm bored, or when I have another person along that doesn't have a flasher. Maybe he had it listed for 100.00 off of list price, and didn't have any takers. In case you haven't heard, there are people with money woes at the moment.

Or maybe it was stolen. Lord knows that happens enough around here.

No worries about it being stolen. TRUST ME. I had the same concerns and cautions..

He brought it to my Police Dept and sold it to me in Uniform. He was also an ex police officer. Just clearing off the shelf per the wifes orders apparently!

Said it was used 6 times and I believe it! LOOKS LIKE NEW!

Im not rubbing it in.. Just excited about the deal and wanted to mention it as a lot of us are looking for things we want but trying not to spend everything in the process... it goes to show that there are good people and good deals out there. Just gotta keep looking.

I believe several other threads have mentioned Karma as well... I am a believer.

FISH ON !

    •                                      Reb's Apple-chicken 'n cheese Casserole   INGREDIENTS: 4 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened 3 medium-size apples, halved, cored, and sliced ( about 3 cups) 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced (2 cups) 3 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts, split 1/2  tsp coarse salt 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper 1/2 cup soarse-shredded Swiss cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs  (I like to use crushed mild seasoned croutons) 1/8 tsp dried thyme 1/8 dried rosemary 3 Tbsp  fresh apple cider
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray a 2- 2 1/2 quart baking dish with cooking spray Melt the remaining 4 tablespoons butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the apples and onions and saute until the apples are tender, about 10 minutes. Spoon into the baking dish. Lightly spray chicken with cooking oil, then rub the chicken with the salt and pepper and place over the apple-onion mixture. Combine the cheeses with the bread crumbs, thyme , and rosemary and sprinkle the mixture over the chicken. Drizzle the apple cider over the cheese. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and the chicken is done. Enjoy!
