Dead Vex Battery

I had to replace my vex battery a couple weeks ago and the old one is just sitting on the counter. Anybody know of a place that will take them for disposal?

Any auto parts store will take them for recyling.

Find someone with a battery charger that has a "Recondition" mode or rent one if you can. 24-72 hours on that and you will have your battery back good as new if it hasn't sat uncharged for a really long time. I've brought 4 vex batteries back from the dead. Now I have fully charged vexilar batteries laying all over the house.

Where can you find a charge that has a recondition mode on it and how much do they cost

I just followed somebodys advice here and used regular charger hooked it up during the day and then unhooked it at night did this three or four times and battery is like new. mind you this battery sat dead for four years
