PerchPounder
You would have probably had a better chance of going through the door in pure frustration than fitting out the window.
Esox_Magnum
I was out there that night you lose my number?? LOL I think I'd be putting a regular knob or hog barn style latch on there. Or bigger windows. I do wish you had called, I would have been the heckler on the other side, at least for awhile
reddog
I also know we lost near 50% of the lakes muskie poulation summer of 05. Less teeth to control the perch. But has made West an awsome muskie fishing experience. bigger numbers. What happened to the muskies in 05?
Esox_Magnum
For some odd reason a mass exit of the muskies over the spillway. DNR can't explain why. I know 1 fish was surveyed on Spirit next day caught in Mill Creek south of Milford. Weird thing was it wasn't juvinile fish going over it was the mature ones. Kinda explains the boom of big fish on West now. They are still debating what to do with them, put them back in Spirit when they are netted or leave them be and see what happens. I know the numbers in West excede DNR guidelines but those have been out of date for years anyway. According to them their poulation goal for West is 800 mature fish meaning fish over 30". Being a muskie fisherman I like it where its at now. And still have trouble catching them consistantly. I logged over 400 hours last season on West alone and only boated 8, only 2 over 40. epkirkman
I caught 3 over 40" in 05 in Mill Creek, that year the water was crazy high wasn't it? You could just see huge northerns and muskies laying in the water...I have no idea why I didn't call you that night, for some reason I thought you had left.
