Interesting you should ask... I used a Vex(fl-20) and a Marcum lx-5 simultaniously down the same hole a few weeks ago. I hit the i.r. feature on each unit and I had no problems w/interference whatsoever! I pucks were either touching or inches apart! I was amazed...

Thanks for the response guys. I have heard similiar things to what dustin was saying. I would hate to ruin a trip to URL or LOW because I can not use my flasher. Still deciding between a vex and a Marcum. I have a Fl 8 but would like to upgrade to a flasher with a zoom. Looking for a good price.

Humminbirds have no interference.

I have never had any issue getting rid of interference with my LX5 next to a 18 or anything else.

I had a Humminbird and my fishing buddy had one too, the humminbirds had interfearance with each other. But they will not have any interfearance with anyother flasher not even if they are down the same hole!
