Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

ABOS says the boat books at 19,600 (Retail) with an 250HPDI and wholesale of 14k -16k. It is definately a desirable boat as the market moves more toward fiberglass but I think it will be difficult to get more than upper teens out of it. For comparison we will soon have a 2005 19' triton with a 200opti that we will be listing for $19,995.

How do the ABOS Marine Blue Book boat values and the NADA Guide boat values generally compare? Do you have to buy the ABOS books or can the values be view for free via internet webpages??

The ABOS Values are more reflective of the value than the NADA guides.

As far as I know there's no free webpage to view the ABOS value.

As a dealer we rely more on ABOS but you would have to purchase a book or go into a dealer to get an ABOS value.

ABOS is commonly referred to as "Blue Book". It is a guide to help determine the value of a boat, however market conditions, area, time of year, ect also play into a true value.

    •   I doubt luck had much to do with it sir.
    • I saw on a show about a guy living on a point on a lake that had many houses on poles in the water about 20ft from shore. Maybe about 3ft above the water. All the houses were full, It was cool to watch. Easier to maintain at that height, waist deep in water.
    • I know folks who clean out the martin house's every year.....
    • I rinsed them and put them out whole.
    • Well, fellas,  lemme tell ya:  I've had one terrific life and done more things than you'd probably believe.  In fact I told my wife one evening shortly after we had moved to the lower 48, "I think you had best cool it with some of your recollections of our time and adventures in the North because I get the feeling most people won't believe you anyway. And to this day we don't shoot off our mouth too much just for that reason. EVERYBODY should be as lucky as I have been!!
    • Sounds like there will be 17 guns offered!! Come  on the odds of winning a gun are great
