That's bites Big Fish.

Be sure to watch all of the auction sites for any items that are salvagable. I'm sure the local authorities will already be doing this.

Well I hope it goes smooth too. The thing that really kills me is that it was in a 2 hr+ time frame. I was about $300 from being paid off but anyways if anybody has any info let me know I have been keeping an on on the net for it.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for it. I've been shopping for a while for a clean used one anyway. Are there any identifying marks or accessories I should look for?

If you have any pics, please post. You never know if someone will see it out on the lakes.

On the left hand side there is a big tear in the fender I had a tree go through it right were the warning label is at and its missing some of the plastic parts on the front end I was putting a winch on it and never got the plastic back on. Thats the only real identifying marks that I can think of. Here is the LIC# 488 QR even thought that can be taken off it on a big metal plate on the back I have one pic of it but I'm not sure how to post it on here? Yes it was fully insured and they were notified that it was stolen same with the DNR too I gave them a call

That sucks, I feel for ya. Keep an eye on craig's list, [YouNeedAuthorization] and car soup to name a few. You never know, it might turn up there.

Not to make you lose hope but it was most likely taken by two types of people. "Local one-who-thinks-I-am-silly", which means it would have been found by now and "professional" which means it is long gone. I had a Harley taken and the cops words were " it's half way to Iowa right now and will be parts before morning" For two years I looked at bikes at shows etc. hoping to find it. Total waste of time. I know a ATV is diff. than a bike but if it has not shown up by now don't get your hopes up. I hope you had insurance.

  • Your Responses - Share & Have Fun :)

    • Had 3 long beards come out gobbl8ng and running but not to me.  Had them all fired up but they obviously had another destination in mind.
    • I didn’t know grackles fished either.  Interesting.
    • Was checking back to see you with a bird pic @Borch
    • So this is not a new thing!  Interesting.  I keep finding more and more complex behavior in so many of these "dumb" animals!  So many of them are anything but dumb.
    • When I was a kid, we used to have a pond in our yard. We would keep fish and minnows in there. The grackles would clean in out! We had to resort to putting a cover over it.
    • Last Thursday on a visit to my sister in Rock Rapids IA, we made a circuit through the Island Park there.  At the low dam just past the former railroad bridge which is now a walking path we saw a group of grackles fishing at the edge of the white water where it ran against the rocks at the shore line.  There probably were a dozen or so all told moving back and forth and some on the rocks at the other shore line.  In something like half an hour or less we saw various of the birds bring out minnows and eat them on the shore to a total of at least 8.  They also contested for the better fishing spots and tried to horn in on other birds' catches;   they would fly out to quite a bit up on shore with a catch to eat it there. I never expected to see grackles fishing.  I never heard of that before, but then it wouldn't be the first time I didn't know about something relatively common.
    • I've seen deer there, too.  I go by there on my way to work about 3:30 am S S & M.
    • Now they're gobbling...  seem to be getting a little closer.
    • Very quiet so far.  Maybe one distant gobble on the roost but couldn't tell for sure. At least the mosquitos seem to have calmed down in the last 10 minutes some.
