Which One Would You Buy?

Being new to boating, I'm going to upgrade from a Merc. 125 to either a used 2000 Merc.135 Optimax or new 2003 Merc. 150 XR6. Which one does everyone feel would be the best choice?

Joe, get the bigger engine and you will be happier in the long run. Also your boat will sell quicker should you ever decide to. Boats handle and perform best when you have the max allowed hp on them. I have sold boats for about 10 yrs and I have seen lots and lots of people who wished they had put more hp on their boat. But I have never talked to anyone who wished they had less!
