tjoutdor, looks like a very good meal.

Lunker, your crappie knew it's picture was being taken, it bent its tail smile They will lay nice and flat till the camera comes out, then nothing works to keep them still...happens every time grin

Nice fish boys!! I should have been there that day!!

Here are some pics from the other night. Quality fish were caught. Mine is almost 14", and my buddy Terry's is just over 15". I think he cried a little when he erased it lol.

Just looking at these pictures y'all make it look so easy..we picked up ice fishing this year after living here for 9 years..being we're from Texas we were ice shy:p Does anyone have some go to baits for these fish? We only iced three fish this winter(Northern, Bluegill, and Perch, gill and northern on fat head, perch on crappie minnow.) I mean we went to a lake that is stacked with black crappie and we catch 30+ of them every time we go out in open water..but on the ice couldn't get anything. Advice?

My buddy Greg with big crappie for day, I think it was 13.5in.. and yes, it went back...as do all crappies over 12in :grin
