Wow,

What a difference a helping hand a helmet and a little foot can make in a game. My beloved Bears played like garbage for 3 quarters, Kyly Orton was horrible BUT the Defense did it all, Matt Forte took matters into his own hands and the three little wishes:

1) Alex Brown gets his huge paw up and blocks the sure short field goal to send the game into OT.

2) The coin toss bounces off of Urlacher's helmet to land on heads, giving the Bears the ball to start.

3) One little foot and it is GOOD AS GOULD!

IT IS ALIVE, the thing that would not die. I predict 6 sleepless nights for the Queens, knowing that the Number One Seed is rolling into the Hump Dome to tune up for the playoffs.

Prediction Giants 35 Queens 10

Of course the Bears will defeat the Texans 20-10

OK Guys, put on those grass skirts and coconut bras and sing with me DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS, SAUSAGE, DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS, BEER, DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS

Or better yet: Bear down Chicago Bears..........

VEDDY NICE Limit!

Got to love it when Da Bears can put a little coin in your pocket and leave both the Queens and the Cheeseheads pennyless!

Hammer,

With so much on the line next week, I propose that if the Queens and Da Bears tank and dump their games we should elect to give the Central Division Title to the Detroit Lions, because neither team wanted it enough to Get-R-Done! Who's with me, Detroit Lions Central Division Champs at 0-16! LOL

Man that was sick last night thats for sure. The Bears got quite a few breaks towards the end that reinforces my hatred of them darn orange. That being said, this does give me a reason to watch on Sunday which is ok.

And urlacher should play hackey sack the way he controled that coin toss. laugh

Right you are Donk! I think there is some karma working there, the coin lands on his "head" and it turns up "heads". It was funny as all get out watching 6 huge football players and a little ref all scurrying around looking to see where the coin landed, too funny!

I tell you what though...If the Bears had lost that game on that blocked feild goal, and I were Lovie Smith, I would have released Adrian Peterson immediately. What a complete moron!

I think that a quarter into their game next week, the hapless Queens will be wishing the Bears had made it into the playoffs and they were the ones facing them rather that the Eagles. It is going to be mean and Green in Minnesota next week. The Eagle will soar and the Queens will be sore! Eagles by 21.

Aaaah, the thrill of a longer season.....

And the satisfaction of the whining from neighboring states....

Or all the fans of other teams living in MN, for they realize it is God's Country....

    • Keep an eye on those trees. They tend to jump in the way when your not looking.    won't be the same without ya.
    • Truth be told it was the outstate money that originally built the metro into what it is. Without that funding St Paul would be nothing more than St Peter is today.
    • Can't argue with the last part
    • I wonder if a person gets an extended warranty if that will help?  I have a 2011 with 5.3 silverado and all is good today so I'm thinking og looking into that.
    • My last kayak adventure was less than stellar wound up in the drink. And it was a cold drink at that. A very memorable paddle up to that point. It was the first time I had ever been on the water with snow on everything. It was awesome.    Alas, my 'yaks are all put up for the season now. Waiting for next years adventures to begin.
    • I am toying with the idea of doing a little calling this weekend. The moon is nice and dark, so the first and last few minutes  of daylight might make something happen. It all depends on what I stumble into for sign. The majority of the deer hunters have been done for a while, so the free meals are going to be getting harder to come by.
    • The fans I was talking about are 12 volt and only 1" deep. Putting them under the heater might not do the job because the heat from heater rises. If you have room in the lower cabinet on your heater you could mount one fan inside and blow the heat out the grill on the front of the heater.
    • I thought last night's game was surprisingly entertaining considering how low scoring it was for most of it. Not sure if people outside of MN and TX would agree. Rudolph dropping that ball in the end zone was devastating - IMO it was a bigger play than the final one. As much as I hate to see us continue to lose, I honestly have never seen a team lose so many starters at key positions and still be competitive. Says a lot about our coaching, depth, and players buying in.   Will be interesting to see what we can do with our OL without having a 1st rd pick this off season. As others have said, it wouldn't be a bad strategy to use every draft pick we have on the linemen.
    • Yes. Unlike you I have a job and a life.   I'll just say that whatever it's about you are right because that's the only thing I could ever say that you would possibly agree with me on. I won't get in the way of your libertarian fantasies.
