Cedar waxwings pass berry back and forth

10 posts in this topic

Fairly typical behavior for cedar waxwings. Whether it's courtship or some other social behavior seems to be in doubt among bird behaviorists.

But I was just happy to be there today when they were doing it.

Two offending branches cloned out, though the leaf shadows on one bird's breast are from a leaf clump just out of the frame.

Dang Steve, you make me so envious. I've never even witnessed anything like this, let alone captured the moment.

Very nice! If you have cloned out a branch, you are a great cloner. I always end up with something strange looking somewhere. Kudos.
