Keeping a Fishing Log

Recommended Posts

I started mine in January of 2007. I have looked back it several times already. Sure wished I had done it earlier. Mine is just a cheap 6 ring binder that my wife left in a vehicle that she stopped driving. I keep a log in it,and the address book also is handy to keep fishing buddies names in too. I wished that it was a little more detailed, but at least I am getting this written down. This is in addition to my GPS points. I would like to see how some of you add photos and GPS points to your online logs. I was thinking about entering what I have right now into a spreadsheet.

Good luck with what ever method you use.

I downloaded a free program called Anglers eLOG which is kinda nice. I was doing a lot of fishing this fall and it was fun filling it in, plus it is customizable too.

Pretty slick. I just downloaded it and it looks pretty cool. I have an excel form I got off of here a couple of years ago that's nice too. One for open water & one for ice.
