liquid plumber in the tub?

Would it be harmful to use liquid plumber in a whirlpool tub if I flushed it a couple times with clean water afterwards?

You mean circulate it though the jets, lines and pump?

I know mine owners manual is pretty specific about not even using bubble bath. They do recommend a product which I don't remember to use for cleaning. It wasn't LP I know that.

I would think because the tub needs to be full before you can turns the jets on without having water all over the room that you'd need a whole lot of Liquid Plumber.

If is hard water vinegar should work. Plug the intake and fill though the jet then seal it off.

They sell jet cleaner kits in good plumbing/hardware stores. The sales rep also told me automatic dishwasher machine soap will do a good job of cleaning it but never to use anything but those two things...
