KTapper
I got mine by lifting up on the basket I had panfish in and it was flopping on top it was so small so i took a pic and sent him on his way to grow big and strong!

jdstrup
Not sure anyone will believe this one. Not sure I believe it. I was trolling Stony Point on Leech, reeled in to remove a leaf, and here's what was left. It's the smallest perch I've ever seen. Foul-hooked, so I had to release him! adamm1
I hooked him on a panfish jig with a treble hook believe it or not

Grant Pearson
that they do. I can't wait until I'm able to set up an aquarium again for my little one. A bass or two might make it in there.

landscaper
what do you feed the bass then??i have gotten one a little bigger than duffmans
BuckKiller
If they are really small I start out with wax worms, but once they can handle a minnow i feed them crappie minnows. I have 6 bullheads in my tank now and they can each eat 3-4 minnows a day. fun to watch them
BuckKiller
oh also leeches if i have some left over from fishing in the summer. just don't put in more then they can handle (leeches will suck holes in the glued corners and minnows will die, leaving your wanter very dirty). mngirl
Oh my! I actually caught a couple of minis this summer. I caught about a 4 in bass before season (every once in a while he is my facebook pic) and out on Cedar this summer we kept catching eyes that were from 6-9 inches one night. I don't have them on my computer otherwise I would post them up here, my ex took those pics . You have to admit though, they are cute ! Great catches, I'm just proud of all the men willing to admit they catch little fishies!
mngirl
Hovermn, where/when did you catch that little buddy? He could have been my "whopper" in the spring. Oh, and this fall I "caught" a little shad off the river as he jumped up on shore! I think I made the bird nearby mad, he had been staking that spot out for a while. TroyMcClure
Check out the avatar. Caught it on a shiner minnow and jig.I also have a bass about two inches long caught on an original rapala, but Polarsusd81 should chime in. He snagged a minnow with a red-eye shad on WBL this summer.
