I am looking into getting a good portable power source, the ones that also can jump start your car). I bought a cheap one at fleet farm on sale for $25 has 400 amp starting capabillities and can run 12 volt stuff off it. thought it would be good for fish house lights and start wheeler if battery goes down.And its light to cary.
Question, Is there a good brand name out there that has more amps for starting and can you get one with an inverter on them. Ive seen cheap ones with 200wat inverters but thats not big enough to power anything substacial like a hand held band saw or sawsall. Looking for something light to carry besides carting geneator for small jobs like cutting fence post tops.
