fishinmajishin
You catch the crappie and Pike on the same baits? One northern on a small shiner(rattle reel) and the other on a crappie minnow fishin for crappies. All the crappies on minnows. 2lb floro and small tungsten jigs. 8-12 ft off over 30'. Northlander
Posting your catch is fine as long as they arent all bloody or tossed in a pile or just a bucket shot or fish cleaning shot. Keeping and eating fish is all part of the game. Take pics in a "natural" setting.
Deitz Dittrich
Yeah, been getting a lot of static bout that. Never's bothered me I guess.Sometimes may be a nuisance. That reminds me of one walleye opener.. I was wader fishing lake Bemidji. Near me was another angler.. we got to chatting, it was obvious through his drawl that he was not a native MN person. We continued to chat and I found out he was from Texas. And had just got a job in MN the week before. He had yet to catch a fish and I was doing quite well. I ended up giving him one of my jigs and a minnow. Told him to fish it like a Jig N Pig for bass.. He did and caught a nice walleye on his next cast, which he promptly Lipped like one as well.. I ended up giving him a ride to the ER after he ripped his thumb out of the fishes mouth.. What a mess...

While fishing with an old friend this past summer he claimed that he lips all northerns under 6lbs, I wanted him to prove it so I went for northerns the next day. Lucky for him all I caught was bass
