That would be a real good deal. No warranty I suppose though. But for 80 buck i would buy two.

No warranty, but like I said the Scheels guy assured me they tested it, and talked me into testing it before I left with it, so I go to see it work before I bought it. I of course had to use it that day, and it was pretty cool out on the lake watching a mess of crappies swim by it.

One other thing was the Scheels guy said he was 99% sure Nature Vision would fix it if anything were to go wrong with.

Yeah, I have a $20 off $100 for Cabelas sitting here, and I see that they have their branded cameras on sale. I could get the 5" one for $80.00, but even at that price I want to be sure the money is well spent.

I bought one from Cabela's.Wasn't a lot of money and it does a decent job.I will most likely step up next year.I would say it is a good entry level camera.

Both the 5" and 7" B&W cameras at cabelas have the Sony lens and have really great prices now. Last year I bought the Marcum VS380 for $250 which also has the Sony lens. Now that Nature vision bought Marcum they jacked the price to $419 this year. There is a marked clarity difference between the Aqua View Scouts and the units with the Sony lenses (Sony lenses clearer). If I was making the purchase this year I'd be gunning for the Cabelas 7" B&W (Basically same unit as the VS380 with infrared instead of LED lighting and different camera housing).
