Looks like well over 12" but it has been blowing hard. "Winter Storm Warning" in effect until noon Monday. Predictions are up to 18". Temps 20 to 50 below zero in the next few days not including wind chill. No school Monday so the kids are bummed, or was that my wife?

Yeah Fargo said 8-14 but with the wind blowing at 40 MPH all day its really tough to tell it's been -10 as well...They closed down interstate 94 from Fergus all the way out to Jamestown (about 150 miles of interstate). Just really happy I haven't had to be out in it yet. Stay safe!

Hard to tell because everything is drifted so much, but I would guess it's 10-12"

Officially 9.5", but the driveway was drifted about 2 feet for most of it. Half the time it was over the top of the of the snowblower. Just got back in from 1 1/2 hours of blowing snow shocked

12" up by Mille Lacs confused

Funny how things can change in a short distance with the weather. Here in Princeton, maybe 4" and it was nice today and getting colder now, but still snowing a little. My buddy in Big Lake got almost nothing.

Maybe 6 or so around duluth but that wind keeps it blowing all over as others said...hopefully its not enough to keep that ice from getting thicker

In th Twin cities, today at one we had 42 deg. and by 4 it was 8 deg. and everything was a giant skating rink. now the snow is starting to acumulate. On Big Marine lake, the ice was covered with 1-2 in. of water and almost had white caps to boot.

I lost my snomobile. I can see the windshield sticking out of the drift and it is up to the bumper of my F-150 on sheltered roads.

Between 14" and 15" near I. Falls. 3 - 4' drifts now. Have a 1 ton plow truck. Plowed all the roads last night on the way to my plowing jobs as that's how deep it was on the main roads! Plow couldn't go up high enuf to stay out of the snow!

AWESOME!

    • Hotspot outdoors of course!
    • Money to be made, and the cold war (you remember the cold war, right?) was the reason we did various things.    Go read about Stalin and his successors to see why we were worried about the Soviet Union.   What we did might or might not have turned out like we hoped but that doesn't change what the situation was.
    • Dave, your economist wants immigrants to meet requirements like posting a bond or having assets.  Why should they do that when they can just come in with nothing through the porous borders?   Isn't the argument about open borders vrs controlled immigration?   Would the 11 million undocumented have to go back home and post a bond?     If the US through its political process decides to allow immigrants, that's cool.    But that is not what we have now.   Better pick that mike back up.
    • I'm still trying to figure out why we pushed the coup in Ukraine, other than to cause trouble of course.
    •   Ditto, almost exactly the same. I wouldn't spend a ton of money on decoys if your just starting.
    •   To tell you the truth. I have never cleaned a cottontail ever that didn't have flees all over them in the winter. So I just stop hunting them and went for Snowshoes which are bigger and never found flees on them, oddly?
    •   Seems the hares are down from when I was younger but the cottontails seem plentiful enough. I popped these with a 20 gauge shotgun while grousing
    • I use to go for Snowshoes a lot in the winter with a scoped 22. It was fun sneaking through the pines looking for them. See the little black eye and "bing".  Seems like they just fell off the face of the earth for many years so I just gave up trying for them. I'm sure with the big "Down with Fur" thing and not many taking out as many Fox and Yotes by trapping it really took a hit on the bunnies!  I wrote the DNR back a few years ago and asked them about it and he said: we really don't manage the Rabbits at all. And he gave me the old "Grouse BS". Their just at the bottom of their 10 year cycle!   Seems to always be their answer!
    • 2 baldies were getting it on last thursday about 100 yards from where we were fishing. pretty cool. spring is in the air... LOL
    •   Too late. It's now undergoing the digestive process as I type   This is first rabbit dinner I've had since my early 20's and I'm going to be 57 this year. I shot them while grouse hunting this fall and winter but haven't specifically targeted them since I was much younger. I've never heard of anyone really going after them anymore
