buddy heater

6 posts in this topic

I used to make grilled cheese sandwiches with my old buddy heater. Used to also lay meat sandwich on it for a warm meal. More than likely it was not intended for this though.

I laid the cheese, meat, and bread right on it while laid on it's back side. You had to watch the cheese so it wouldn't drip on the heating element.

I believe they shut off if they get tipped over for safety reasons. The heater/cooker works great for cooking.

no they have a safety feature in them that will cause them to shut off if tilted or knocked over, ours is so sensitive that sometimes if u goto move it, it shuts off just from the slight angle.

I'm not too sure about older ones though.
