buddy heater

I used to make grilled cheese sandwiches with my old buddy heater. Used to also lay meat sandwich on it for a warm meal. More than likely it was not intended for this though.

I laid the cheese, meat, and bread right on it while laid on it's back side. You had to watch the cheese so it wouldn't drip on the heating element.

no they have a safety feature in them that will cause them to shut off if tilted or knocked over, ours is so sensitive that sometimes if u goto move it, it shuts off just from the slight angle.

I'm not too sure about older ones though.
