Otter Small Den as a Windbreak

4 posts in this topic

I was wondering if anyone had instructions for setting up an otter den as a wind break. I figured out how to make it work, but it sure didn't seem correct. Thanks

I don't have a Den, I have the Otter Lodge - Mine comes with a vertical support pole that attaches to the back lip of the tub to the horizontal part of the first frame support. Install this pole to form your windbreak - the rest of the supports/tent stays flipped up against the fist frame support.

Do this same thing with my Fish Trap Pro.

I like using the flipovers this way when it is nice out. Keeps the entire shack open to enjoy the nice weather, but creates a wind break to keep the wind chill of you.

Thanks guys, to me the wind is what makes it cold a lot of days, and this system works better than what I was doing.
