I drive a Ranger and like cold temps and a solid foot.I picked up a used sled last fall and happy to use that on the ice.I only drove the truck out 2-3 times last year.We got a foot of snow last Dec 1st so the sled and Voyager was the way to go.We are in the middle of a storm today that may dump 12 + inches of snow by Monday. The sled and porty may be the ticket again this year.

I have had an F150 and wheeled house on 8 inches and the atv and wheeled house on 5 inches. Same lake different years.

It was not smart but the ice was solid and it supported the weight.

Been on 1.5 to 2 inches with portables several times, again not smart but good ice did support it.

Been on LOW with 12 inches with the diesel and heavy 8x16 camper.

Ice road truckers drive 100K lbs on two feet of ice???

Was coming off of washington about 2:00 yesterday, made a comment to a couple of buddies that there sure are a lot of vehicles on the ice. My buddy called me a couple of hours later and told me that a bunch had went thru. Couldn't believe all of them parked on the ice. There was also a full size truck and a minivan driving around on the lake.
