I will be heading up near the boundry waters in late december. There is a lake(with some good sized northerns in it) that has a stream running into it and there is always some open water where the stream dumps into the lake. There is not much structure in the area. Using caution, I was thinking about putting some tip ups around the area to target northerns. Despite the fact that there is no structure, do you think the running water/oxygenated will attract a lot of fish to this area? Any opinions?
