Bold blues in the bog.

8 posts in this topic

Today I had 2 blue jays come in with the gray jays and I was standing maybe 15-20 feet away. I guess cold and hunger can win over any bird. Now ribs2 has bold blue jays. Where else does a guy need to go? Its like one shop birding there...grin

I met a guy who drove up from the cities to shoot the gray owls on Nichols Rd. Unfortunately they never showed up tonight. I did see one on McDavitt on my way home though.

This gray jay was trying to sport a crest as well.

Same with the lonely redpoll who came all by himself.

I have no idea how these fat birds can balance on tiny little branches.

Mrs. Blackback was scoping out next years nest spot not to far down the road from ribs2.

Jay, looks like the bog came through again. Even more importantly, it was you who came through. Neat work! smilesmile
