Lots of winter birds starting to show up. Got this one this afternoon:

Gotta love it, Ken! Nice one in a very nice setting.

Considering my back yard was the Dead Sea for birds last winter (the two winters before I was wading through birds to restock the feeders, so go figure), I've got some steps I'm about to take to change matters.

You lucky bugger, living out in the woods like that! gringrin

So far I've had both pines and evenings, lots of siskens, blue jays, downies, hairies, and today even had a white throated sparrow around for awhile!

Ken, if you can buy some cracked corn at Flower and Seed and keep some scattered around on the ground, you'll likely keep that W-T sparrow all winter.

Thanks for sharing that beauty Ken. We don't get those down here this far south.
