Coon
I'm having a heck of a time spoolin up 2 lb. line on a new spool. It keeps breaking when I try and tie it on the spool. What kind of knot should I be using on the spool?
DTro
I have a hard time getting a good knot on the spool too. I usually just tie a couple of overhand knots and put a small piece of tape in it to hold it down.I wouldn’t worry too much about it breaking. If you get spooled, even the strongest knot is going to break anyways.
JoeTC
I use an Arbor knot on all my reels and for all different lines. Its simple and works great. Do an internet search if you want to see how it's done. Joe
BigWadeS
I find the same thing and usually just tape it down to the reel and havne't had any issues so far
