St Croix Spring bobber modifcation

2 posts in this topic

I want to modify a rod to accomodate the St Croix spring bobber. I have read here how to do it but I have one more question. Do you have to use rod epoxy and thread? If so where do you buy it?

I don't think you have to, but it will make the modification look a lot cleaner and nicer. Probably a bit more sturdy than using say super glue. You can get rod building thread and epoxy at Thorne Bros. or order online from various places.
