fedexguy
anyone try this yet, looks convienent, light, roomy, but is it going to fly away? i know there are ice anchors, but are they a hassle? how about the hubs and fiberglass rods does it seem like a good setup? I was going to buy a flip house but these are like 75lbs lighter and fit in a bag you can carry on your shoulder.
fishwater
I picked up a clam command post to use with buddies when it isn't too windy and we can drive out. Here's a link to a buried thread on HUB houses

fishwater
Hey Fedex, welcome to the forums! I think they are pretty neat shelters for the money. Hard to beat a trap for finding fish, but if you have a good spot that you plan on fishing for an extended time, they are sweet IMO.
hunt fish repeat
hey fedex,I have a similar "hub style" shack, you don't have the mobility of the sled style shack but you do have the ability to pack it in the trunk of the car or on the wheeler without pulling anything. You can put a wheeler in the back of a p.u. without a trailer but if you have a flipover shack your s.o.l. With a hub style you can go anywhrere. I have a flipover, a hub shack, and a wheelhouse, they all have thier pro's and con's.
Johnny_Da_Der
I have got one and really like it. It can be a pain to set up in the wind, but once set and staked down it's fine.
