dukhntr
I am working on my wheelhouse and need to know what is recomended for attaching the floor to the wheelhouse frame, and where to get them. I tried using stainless screws from Fleet, but they broke. I am using one layer of 3/4" treated plywood. Thanks for any help.dukhntr
WalleyeGuy85
When i built my house i drilled some holes through my frame ran some bolts through the frame and floor and through the sill plate then nutted the bolt. As far as attaching my floor i used stainless screws but drilled smaller pilot holes first, because i had the same problem as you.
Jesse Drummer
try using just any plain old treated screws. 1.5"- 2.5" should be good enough.
ec30_06
I have used self drilling screws for similar projects. I beleive they come in stainless or galvanized as well.
