WALLEYEDUDE2001 Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 Looking for opinions on installation tips for puting a rubber roof on a 14 x 6-1/2 V house. Do you put the sheeting material on the rafters & then glue it to that or do you have to put something over the sheeting ? What do you use for trim/attaching the rubber ? adamr Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 I just did my 7x16 bought the piece from menards and also in thet isle they have the aluminum strip to attatch it with mine took about 2 1/2 gallons put the piece on the roof pull back half than glue than do other half works really good. epkirkman Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 This should give you a fairly good idea of what I did. I sheated the top, used the insulation board recommended with the kit. I added a two by four around the entire outside roof edge to avoid getting dripped on. We glued it and installed the cheap transition strip. I have had no problems at all with this method.
