Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Recommended Posts

Guys,

Calling Jerry's to see what they've got for ice line available. Sold the good stuff out fast last year. I need some Fireline and other items. If anyone wants any, tell me what and how much. I'll shoot you the prices and you decide. Hope to order Monday or Tuesday. Tim has my number if you want to call.

Yes I'll be fishing 2 of em to start the season. But im sure Tank will comandeer one of them. Thats why I ordered 3 of em - so you'll actually get one, lol...

Im waiting on some handle material then im gonna cut one down to around 22 inches. Thats the one im sure Tank will scarf up.

Word of warning though Timmy, you probably should not use this rod inside your trap. One of your "hero" hookset and a miss and she will explode!!!

I cant wait to be im my trap somewhere near Timmy and hear that telltale sound of his hooksets hitting the top of the trap...

Easy Alice, watch Tank - his hooksets are never above eye level...

Yes, I do. Need something, or directions? I can either pick it up for you or get you there. I'll take you for the best Pizza outside of Ray's in NYC!! Several of the guys have my number. In the book too, just R. on Kossuth. If you need ANYTHING outdoor related, fishing, hunting, etc. Check with me first.

May go to Susser's (wholesalers) in Albany this week to see what they have this year. Haven't gone in a couple years now but they used to be great to deal with. Small selection but...

Thank you, thank you very much,i'll be here all winter...

Im good at a few things - fishing, farting, and picking on Timmy are on that short list...

Stevie - definatly a nice rod, would like to see it offered in a shorter version. Quite similar to 2 rods offered in the past, one by HT and the other by Gander - both out of production but nearly the same action...

    • red polls and purple finches here daily for a while now. not many house finches.  brown headed cowbirds are here. flickers. Saw a vireo yesturday.
    • Here are some pictures from my hunt.
    • I have not seen a redpoll in over a week
    • The finger needed to be pointed in his direction, after a few coaches got it first.  I keep reflecting back on the team of 2002-2003, Marion led the bunch in points but the rest was either rookies,  hand me downs and two goalies that got hot. Throw in guys that weren't afraid with lots of heart and they made it work..
    • Same here I set the blind where they like to be. Even if that is in the middle of a 500 acre sod field.
    • It just gives me more time to pass on the addiction to anyone I can be to come out.
    •     Yep pop it up and hunt they work great.
    • Fletcher is gone, pretty impartial to this, will be interesting to see who they bring in and what they do to shake up the team. Overall I think he was a good gm but not great, pulled us out of the dark ages but never seemed to get us over the hump. New GM will have a much better starting point as far as players and assets go.  https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2018/04/23/wild-split-with-gm-chuck-fletcher-after-playoff-exit/34168091/
    • I made some maybe 5 years ago and put one on a tree and the other at the end peak on a garage. The one on the garage had bats in the first year, the one on the tree finally had some in last year. 2 different designs so that may have made a difference. I made 1 for my daughter 3 years ago and put it on the garage and they used it the 2nd year. Mine are black- hers a dark brown. Don't put them in an area where bat dump can be a problem.  Good luck with them.
