Fireline to stitch up a turkey?

9 posts in this topic

My wife forgot to buy butchers string for the bird and the Cub Foods by our house is out. I have some 30 lb Fireline though. It's uncoated, although the thread is a green color. Do you think any chemicals would leech out into the turkey meat?

Any small cotton string or for that matter how about some thread from a sewing kit.

Gee, I never stitched one up. I thought that hole was where you stuck the onion or the orange.

I for one applaud your innovative thinking. Fireline works great for repairing rugs by the way.
