Are these legal in MN? I thought I once read that they were not.

Does anybody have experience with them? Please share.

Any device that will AUTOMATICALLY SET the hook is illegal to use in Minnesota.

Auto jigger is legal though since it does not set the hook, it just jigs the bait up and down. Bought one for my fishhouse last year. We thought it worked well.

Carp, I was unaware of that we had made a couple, looks like they will not get any use. Nodak or should I say border ice what would be the rule?

This is a general fishing rule for all of Minnesota waters so I believe on border waters you would have to make sure you were fishing the side that isn't Minnesota waters. Of course that would only be legal if it was allowed by the other state.

I built a slammer and have used it a few times and had some fun with it. I didn't know they were illegal-bummer.

Doesn't a rod in a rodholder while trolling set the hook automatically?
