Wahl, George Alfred age 65, of Golden Valley, died very peacefully at home of cancer with his family present. Preceded in death by father, George W. Survived by wife of 39 years, Marlene; daughter, Julie (Keith) Anderson; granddaughters, Mary Grace and Emma Jean; mother, Jean; sisters, Judith (Victor) Kochaver and Elisabeth (Robert) Schmidt; nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. George designed and manufactured Eagle Tail Lures for 26 years. He was a member of Muskies, Inc. for 36 years, at one time served as president and was inducted into the Muskies, Inc. Hall of Fame in 2006. George was the founder of the Minnesota Muskie Expo which started in 1994. He loved nothing more than a day in his boat on Lake of the Woods. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Funeral service Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at First Baptist Church, 1021 Hennepin Ave., Mpls. (allow time to find parking). Visitation Sunday, Nov. 23 from 4-7 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel 763-533-8643 5125 W. Broadway, Crystal
