Jiffy and Eskimo auger interchangeable?

I have a Jiffy Legend 8" with ice armor and looking at going with a 10" auger only (keeping my power head) and my buddy is thinking of go from a 10" to a 8" utill his kids get bigger. I'm not shure what Esimo he has but I think it's a Baracuta. Does any one know if mine will work on his?

Eskimo was interchangeable with strikemaster, which is opposite rotation to the jiffy. That is coming from a couple years ago tho when I tried it. I know a SM auger on a eskimo engine makes an amazingly fast auger. I was floored at how fast it drilled.

I have a 224 10" for my eskimo, dont have the power to turn it. I also have a 10 in. SM with the ripper blades that cuts great.eskimo turns clock wise Jiffy turns Counter clock wise.

Jiffy turns the wrong direction for an interchange with Eskimo.
