The defense seems to be playing good this season, now if the offense could play better. I t should be a great game the Badgers have played very good for a few years

Pretty disappointing. Total freefall mode for the Gophers. Still, with the expectations that were in place for the squad, you gotta take what you have and be thankful after dropping three that you still have 2 games left.

If Eric Decker plays, I think the Gophers would beaten the Badgers. That VanDeSteeg is a beast.

Yeah, really disappointing loss by the Gophs after a great first half. Once again Minnesota couldn't run the ball. Weber had some nice runs in the first half, but there wasn't much from the running backs.

Gopher hockey and the Wild won, that was about it for this side of the river!! Geez, I really thought this was the year that I finally going to see a Gopher victory at Camp Randall, too!

Maybe Wi. just wore them down like they are built to do? That O line of the Badgers is a big outfit. Mn. is very undersized in most positions and slow in the others.

They do have a couple of undersized linemen on both sides of the ball, which has been the issue with the Gophers in years past. One good thing about this Gopher team is that they are very young and have very few starting seniors on either side of the ball to replace for next year. Next year's defense should be very good if they can find a pass rushing end or two. The linebackers are on the small side, but they play fast, tackle well and get to the outside. The offensive line is young with no starting seniors. Hopefully a couple of them can bulk up, but personally I think it will take another starter or two like Matt Carufel to really make them good. Brew and his Crew are trying to recruit a few very good linemen both here in Minnesota and also nationally, so it would be nice to see a few of them sign. As far as the offensive weapons, Brandon Green is a true freshman this year and shown his talent. The combination of a more experienced Brandon Green lined up opposite of Eric Decker could be very dangerous next year, that is if Weber realizes he can go to someone else besides his #1 receiver. My biggest gripe is that they have to improve the running game, and not just having the quarterback run. So again, hopefully they can improve the offensive line.
