Oakdale Snow Boots (military) CHEAP!

I just saw black military Mickey Mouse Boots at Fleet today for $39!!!

The cheapest I have ever seen them before was double that.

I am still wearing my original pair from the Army since 1983. Yikes they're 25 years old and I'm using them this weekend for deer hunting! I love them for deer hunting and ice fishing, no liners to wear out, very warm, and tough as nails!

The only drawback is they are heavy unlike Thinsulate boots.

So I've heard nothing but great things about these boats....but how are they for runnin' and gunnin'? I understand there pretty heavy but would the weight take its toll on a guy who's jumpin' from hole to hole for 8 hours?

Do you just wear a couple pair of wool socks and are they comfortable but a but heavy?
