MurkyWaters
I have to bring my boat to storage on Friday evening. It's about a 1.5 hour drive. The forecast says it will rain/snow Friday evening. I am concerned that if it snows they may salt the roads and my trailer could be suseptible to corrosion. However, my logic is that they WILL NOT salt the roads because the temperature is not expected to fall below freezing point. The wind chill factor will fall below 32 degrees, but freezing point is determined by actual temperature NOT wind chill factor. Therefore, I feel like I am in the clear...Can someone back me up?Thanks,PARANOID PAN FISHER
marine_man
If I were a betting man they will be salting the roads.I'd hold off until the weather clears...marine_man
shizzy
I would assume they would be salting due to the fact there isnt any salt residue on the roads.
slipperybob
I was going to run my boat through the coin car wash but I guess I'll have to wait.
