deer hunting areas

Recommended Posts

so i will be hunting in area 156, which is in the statewide zone (A) i believe. So, if i wanted to go hunt somewhere else, say in carlos avery wma, could i hunt there with the same license? (assuming i didnt get a deer in area 156)

as long as you are in the 100 zone you can shoot a BUCK anywhere within that zone and the areas are strictly for doe permits with a few exceptions

isnt a regular firearms license good for 1 buck or 1 doe?

as long as youre for season A and during the allowed hunting dates for 100 200 or 300 series then you can hunt anywhere you have to know if youre in a lottery, management or intensive harvest area

lottery 1 buck or 1 doe if you succesfully received a doe permit

management 1 buck or doe with your main license plus 1 bonus

intensive 1 buck or doe with your main tag and up to 4 bonus tags for does
