mike morris
Post any offseason rumors you have for the Twins here. I heard something that the Twins are interested in Orlando Cabrera? Great player, and he would definitely improve us, but doesn't he have a bad attitude?
bassNspear
if there going to get people that this in, or anyone else, there going to have to spend the money for them, and the twins are knowen to to spend money
zamboni
Griffey Jr was cut by the Sux, would make a decent everyday DH, imho.

zamboni
hes way to old and falling apart Can still hit 25+ HRs a year. As a DH ONLY I said. Don't put him in the OF, thats an injury waiting to happen
bassNspear
i was watching SC and there talking that he might go back to the Mariners.
maros91
He's left handed. We need a right handed power hitter. I know it will never happen but Manny would be nice.
maros91
I have heard talk of Garret Atkins and Adrian Beltre via the trade market or the signing of Casey Blake via free agency
UdeLakeTom
Heard the talk about Atkins also, then I read your post and completely forgot what I was going to post. I somehow got distracted.

IFallsRon
Heard this morning that the Rangers plan to pick up about a $13 million option on Blalock but they're not sure where he'll play. My guess is DL and Round Rock.
greebs
I've heard rumors of Casey Blake and Orlando Cabrera. Blake makes some sense if the price is right but don't really understand Cabrera given the number of infielders we have already but that might be contingent on what happens with Punto. IFallsRon
I can't imagine any scenario where the signing of a player would depend on Punto unless the signed player requires Punto to carry his supporter.

CrappiesNCats
a cuddy/atkins deal is reportedly being discussed
mike morris
I'd take that deal. Where else we going to stick Cuddy? At third as well? I'll take Atkins offense over Cuddyer's.
greebs
today I heard Delmon Young to SD for Kevin Kazmanoff (not positive of spelling). I think I like the Cuddy/Atkins rumor better than this one though if they are going to acquire a new 3b.
mike morris
It's Kevin Kouzmanoff. I'd rather take the Cuddyer for Atkins trade. Atkins is a better offensive threat. I guess I'm not sure how Kouz is on the defensive side, but Atkins holds his own.Delmon Young has too much potential, and I feel he'll play at Cuddyer's level next year, or maybe better. zamboni
I am all for giving Young one more season, as long as his defense improves, and I would like to see 20+ HRs as well. If he continues misplaying pop flies, trade him.
mike morris
Agreeable. I just think last year was his year to get used to playing left field in that nasty Metrodome.
SledNeck
Agreeable. I just think last year was his year to get used to playing left field in that nasty Metrodome. 8 errors at a new position, its not good, but he did have 11 assists.garrett atkins WOULD BE HUGE for us, I just hope that someone else doesnt snap him up first. Hes a big solid player298 career hitter 100+ rbi guy 20 jacksgood fielderRight handed hitterCuddy is the odd man out
zamboni
He may have only had 8 errors, but he misplayed a ton of balls, and they didn't count as errors. But like I said, one more year, see if he can pop out 20 or HRs
