What kind of cover do you hunt for the rut?

Whats everyone's favorite stand placement to hunt for the rut? Funnels, scrape lines, rub lines, bedding areas, feeding areas, or just some trail throughout the woods? You would think a funnel would be the best but I sat all day over one Thursday with no deer sighted. It was warm though at 70 degrees. Where would you hunt the rut?

Once the bucks start to chase, they can and will go wherever the does are located. If I'm hunting with a rifle, I will cover a bigger picked corn field with woods all around it and a noted doe area. For archery, I usually hunt a funnel area.

Those bucks will go wherever the doe leads them and who knows where that will bve.

best tip I would say is to be in the woods as much as possible and in a high doe concentration area. The bucks will be there.
