Happy Halloween! The Democrat's National Holiday

13 posts in this topic

Everyone walks around looking for handouts, and then complain when their bag isn't as full as someone else's. They then feel they are entitled to more to make it fair.

Happy Halloween!

Good ones! gringrin

Republicans, of course, don't give out Halloween candy at all. It's theirs, after all. They earned it, they're going to keep it, and they don't believe in handouts. smilesmile

I thought that was Republican's Holiday. The scaring, the fear, the distortions of reality. The handing out candy part is just to appease the ignorant.(childern are ignorant)

But I will say...you do have to work for your candy. It's not just a hand out. A hand out would be if you bought the candy, and your kids stayed home and you say, screw it, and give all the candy to you kid who did not go trick or treating.

I know Scrooge doesn't really apply here, but in the same sense one could call me a Halloween scrooge.

Go ahead and egg my house now. smile

See now, the ghosts of halloween past, present and Future will haunt you.

I hate halloween ever since I became too old to go trick or treating. I don't like children...they don't like me.. i want to keep it that way smile

But i gota hand out candy this year *sigh*

I usually make a grave yard out of my house and really get into it. To me, it's one of the best holiday's. I love kids and I love to see them come up the steps with the fog, scary music, all the creatures I put out and such. This year my health hasn't been good so I didn't get a chance to put it out and I feel bad for that because the kids really love it. Next year I'll just make it bigger and better.

Rui, I actually like it better now that I don't go out to get candy. Ever heard the expression it's better to give than receive?

DEMOCRAT! LIBERAL! :P

Acutlly i don't see it as giving or recieving. I see it as a redistrubtion of joy. I had a lot of fun during my younger candy collecting days. Lots of nice people filled my bags with declious candy and that brought me a lot of fun and joy. Now it's time for me to return that favor. smile
