Most flip over style houses have no floor, I have had no problems heating my Frabill XLT or Otter Wild 2.

I think you will have more of a issue with finding a heater small enough that wont smoke you out. I would think a buddy heater would be a good choice in them if you can keep it working right. After 3 of them I quit trying.

this might be the way to go. the new clam six man pack shack weighs forty pounds, I could use my 6800 for base camp etc. and then jump around scouting new spots, especially remote spots.

If you guys are talking about heating one of the Nature Vision Pak Shacks, you should consider a Coleman Sportcat heater. It works perfect in the small house. Small enough to fit in there and it doesn't take much to heat them.
