7 posts in this topic

Any good ideas on fall perch catching tatics? In may I was dragging a plain hook and half a worm with a split shot about a foot and a half up from the hook. got some nice perch doing this. but now there is no fish in those spots! the lake that i got em' in spring is not very big or very deep. 12 ' max . one big bar in it and a river system through it . not shure how fast the flow is right now. any help?

I would take a small jig and a small fathead. thats what I use you can catch both perch and walleyes on those.

Buckshot or forage minnow with a minnow head or chunk of crawler vertical under the locater. Just a thought.

As far as location goes it's usually a pretty shallow bite this time of year. Check out any reedbeds if the lake has some.

Try Fatheads with a plain red hook.....I hooked into a few on that with a bobber near the bottom of course.
