Screw in steps legal on wma?

Are screw in steps legal on wildlife management areas? As long as they are taken out at the end of the day?

I say there not legal in wma because they make perment damage to the tree but I am not the dnr.

I just read the regs for the Sherburn National Wildlife Refuge and screw in tree steps ARE NOT ALLOWED at least there any how.

They are legal in wma's unless specified. In the sna i am hunting, nothing can be used if it damages the trees. So i use climber.
