New To Hunting!

4 posts in this topic

Ok, it's been about 15 years since I last hunted and am looking to go deer hunting this fall/winter. I'm going to be hunting on the inlaws private land in southern mn. Is there a certain license that will maximize my time. In other words I don't want only 1 weekend to "make a kill". I do have a rife, muzzle, or shotgun if that makes a difference. Also if I take the daughter with would she need a license??

THanks

are they located in zone 3B? if so, you have a 10 day season, the weekend before thanksgiving all the way through the weekend after thanksgiving. I hunt 3B for that reason, when I am at the inlaws in SE MN, I can get outta the house and hunt......

No, I just saw there in the 200 zone by waldorf/mankato. Looks like it's just from Nov. 8-16.
