What years did they make ARROWCRAFT boats???

7 posts in this topic

I have a buddy that found one parked out in a grove, it appears to be leak free and a very sturdy and deep 14 foot boat. He was wondering what year it could be the only thing it says on the title is 1986 which I know is wrong I would believe that might be the year the trailer was built for it.

On the title it says that it is considered a non motorized boat, but someone previosly beefed up the transom and used a motor on it. Is there a way he can put a motor on it and be able to use it for a regular fishing boat? Thanks

look on the transom to see if there's a vin number on it. That usually gives a starting point (mine shows last 2 digits as the year). Also go to nada site they show years boats were made. that might help narrow it down as well.

The title for the boat is not same or does not include the trailer. The year cannot be the trailer's.

    • I gave up trying to watch it. I think the guys dog filmed it with a Go-pro strapped to his head.
    • Bernie has not a lick of common sense. He appeals mainly to those fuzzy-brained dreamers and of course that includes many of today's youth,   who despite having great school systems, cannot learn much more than how to operate a cell-phone. A thoughtful politician can dream when he's having a snort or sitting in a duck blind or golfing but when the tires hit the road he's gotta function within some realistic parameters.  Bernie can't do that. Nothing personal Bernie, but it's time to go home and sit down-the election is over and nobody will be interested in you next time.
    • Still best smoked, as they are an oily fish, too.
    • I am having the same issue with mine. I believe it's a gen 2 that's 2 years old but only been out 3 times now. Took it out last weekend for the first time this year and the hose was stiff and the fittings leaked. I contacted jiffy and they said it needed to go to a service center to be repaired. I called the service center and they would have to order the part anyway. I've tried finding the hose around town but everywhere is sold out. That's definitely going to put a damper on the nice weekend coming up. I'm really kicking myself for going with the propane and not an Ion. This auger was my first experience with jiffy after having and Eskimo and strikemaster. My strikemaster was the 3 blade that had some issues with bending the blades. I called them to find out if there was a replacement that I could buy and they ended up swapping it for free and this was after having it for 6-8 years. I'm very disappointed in the service from jiffy on a 2 year old auger with defective parts.
    • For me Tullies have always been rather strong flavored. Always needed a lot of smoke to cover that up.
    • Looking forward to the results of your experiment.
