Sunset with a difference...

17 posts in this topic

Yep you guessed it, I was back out on the shores of Lake Winnipeg (again) yesterday. The north winds were howling, which in turn created some decent waves to build up where they eventually ended up slamming into the shore.

This particular shoreline is strewn with huge boulders, which in turn get hammered by the incoming waves. The opportunity was perfect to hang around until sunset and attempt to capture the waves slamming into the rocks with the sun sinking in the background.

Here's how it turned out...

That first one is so cool! I love how the waves make a circle around the sun. Very cool!
